This project consisted in the design of deep encastre pad foundations for 35m-tall circular, hollow, pre-stressed lighting masts for the taxiway of the Tenerife North-City of La Laguna airport.

Windmill’s mission was to design the foundations to resist significant overturning moments.

One of the biggest challenges faced on this project was ensuring an efficient design meanwhile resisting the overturning moments and providing a rigid foundation to minimise rotations.
