The Placia Tower is a 16th-century building that is part of the landscape of the Huerta de Alicante. The relocation of this building  gives rise to the recovery of it as an isolated defensive element, with the reintegration of original gaps, the reconstruction of missing merlons, the blinding of improper gaps and the restoration of eighteenth-century balconies, which stand as witness to the transformations that the tower has suffered.

Windmill's mission has been to verify the existing structure that will be maintained once the tower has been moved, as well as to solve the structure for the new elements that the project incorporates.

The main objective has been to solve the new foundation that is required when moving the monument to a new location, with unconsolidated land and with different characteristics to the original.
