Structure corresponding to the construction of a prefabricated module for the installation of a temporary administrative installation in a chemical plant, resistant to accidental actions due to the explosion of the products stored in said facilities, for an overpressure (Pso) of 10 PSI.

The project is organized in a single independent module, devoid of windows and a single access on one of its short sides.

The structural configuration of the module is made up of a series of  portico frames arranged orthogonally to the long side, formed by hot-rolled structural steel tubes, braced together by means of tubular profiles with similar characteristics.

The exterior enclosure is formed, both on the façade and on the roof, by corrugated steel sheets.

With regards to the calculations carried out, both the dynamic nature of the explosion force and the elastoplastic behavior of the structure have been taken into account. The pressure-impulse diagrams of the different structural elements have been created, which allow the assessment of the level of damage in different explosion scenarios.
