The project consists, primarily, of a Visitor Center, organized over the basement, ground, first and second floors. It is a building between trapezoidal medians, with a recessed façade on Plaza del Ángel and another facing the interior space of the block, looking the intramural elevation of the Islamic wall.

The construction of urban elements around the canvas of the wall in question is also contemplated in the project. On one side, the recreation of the moat is proposed, so there is a metal gangway that allows the connection between both sides of the moat. On the other side, there are three urban façades that seek to respond to the environment.


Windmill's mission has been to carry out the structural project of the Visitor Center, as well as the urban elements mentioned above.

The main objective has been to solve the structure of precast concrete slabs and walls of the Visitor Center. It is worth noting the design of micropile screens as containment of the land for the archaeological excavation of the plot and the construction of the basement of the center. Metal and precast concrete structures for urban elements have also been resolved.
