This is an isolated detached house, located in the residential area of La Cañada, in Paterna, Valencia. The building has two floors and has a constructed surface area of 340 m2, approx.

Windmill´s task was to draft the project of single-family structure, constituted by two floors organized around walls perpendicular to each other, that form two cubic volumes. The structure is of reinforced concrete composed of walls and solid slabs.

The complexity arose due to the dimensions of the cantilever of the upper floor. For this reason, it was necessary to carry out a detailed study of the alternation of loads to take into account the effect of the overhang that leaves a part of the house in suspension.
