The suspended swimming pool at Hotel Jamaica in Magaluf, Mallorca, has been a milestone in the construction of swimming pools with transparent bottoms, being the largest in the world at the time of its manufacture. Specifically, two symmetrical pools of more than 20 meters in length and three meters in width are contemplated, suspended more than five floors high.

The material that allows transparency, which occurs both at the bottom and at each of the side edges of both pools, is acrylic. Acrylic, without being crystal, continues to exhibit a markedly fragile behavior, at the same time complex due to its variability under certain environmental conditions. In this sense, the contrast of their safety conditions is essential for which three independent calculations were made; Windmill's mission in this regard was precisely to perform one of these three independent calculations.

For the analysis of the acrylic, specific analysis models were carried out, by the Finite Element Method, logically the most relevant action being the action propitiated by the water pressure.
