The project, being the work of Fran Silvestre Arquitectos (www.fransilvestrearquitectos.com/) is developed over a single level: the ground floor. Nevertheless, part of the built surface corresponds to a small basement converted out of the house that originally occupied the plot.
As regards to the structure, steel profiles were proposed, both vertically and horizontally, looking for a construction similar to that of the "Case Studies", a North American reference of the 1950s and 1960s in dry and steel construction. In this sense, the structure lies between a "steel-frame" approach and a more conventional steel structure on pillars.
