This is the old building of the Fishermen´s Associacion, located in the district of El Serallo, Tarragona. The building, consisting of two constructed units built in the first third of the twentieth century, and at different stages, and since such time until the 60´s the building has undergone some reform interventions.

Windmill drafted the project for reformation and rehabilitation of the old building. The project includes the restoration of the building to serve the neighborhood itself, to provide maintenance to the existing restaurante La Puda and to integrate the CEMAPT.

The objective was to intervene in the building in order to improve it qualitatively and adapt it for current and new uses, respecting the current image. 

On a structural level, we sought to optimize the use, whenever possible, of the existing structure both vertically and horizontally, through timely reinforcements.

Worthy of note are the new light roof located in the larger unit and all the slabs corresponding to the smallest unit.
